WE Build is a program of Urban Ministry that works to beautify the neighborhood through renovating blighted, empty houses. WE Build stimulates the local economy by using West End based, black-owned businesses to do the renovations. WE Build volunteers, under supervision of program staff, will complete small construction projects like building new wheelchair ramps, replacing rotted exterior wood and replacing windows. The efforts of WE Build volunteers will be focused on repairing existing homes to assist homeowners in remaining in the neighborhood to be part of West End’s revitalization.

This is a great opportunity for groups of 5-10 people with project and/or construction experience
