Building careers and community together – one apprentice, one skill, one opportunity at a time

WE Work is Urban Ministry’s two-year apprentice program. Young adults who live in West End have the opportunity to apply for an apprenticeship to learn with WE Build, Urban Ministry’s house-renovation program, or with the WE Cafe, Urban Ministry’s pay-as-you-can cafe. In each of these settings, young adults will work alongside skilled directors and learn marketable skills for a full-time job after graduating from the program.

As a WE Work Apprentice:

Compensation and Benefits

  • $12/Hour; 40 Hours/Week
  • 15 Days Paid Time Off

Requirements

  • 2-Year Commitment
  • 19–30 Years Old
  • Live, Work, or Worship in West End
  • High-school Diploma or GED
