Transportation Ministry

The Transportation Ministry, working in partnership with Church without Walls, provides transportation to and from doctors’ appointments, school, work, grocery shopping, and other important errands.

This support is vital in a community where up to 25% of households do not have access to a vehicle. The transportation ministry helps support youth who are in advanced high school programs, seniors who would be shut-ins, and clients who need support to access vital services.

One minivan was donated by the Canterbury Beeson Trust and is more easily accessible to seniors, while a bus with more seating capacity is on loan from First United Methodist Church, Birmingham.
