The Transportation Ministry, a partnership with Church without Walls, provides transportation to and from doctors' appointments, school, work, grocery shopping, and other important errands.
This ministry is vital in a community where up to 25% of households do not have access to a vehicle. The transportation ministry helps support youth who are in advanced high school programs, seniors who would be shut-ins, and clients who need support to access vital services.
Our minivan (right) was donated by the Canterbury Beeson Trust and is more easily accessible to seniors, while a bus with more seating capacity (below) is on loan from First United Methodist Church, Birmingham.
