The Joe Rush Center for Urban Mission still has some dates available for summer 2012 mission trips. All summer long, we offer a full-service mission camp for middle school, high school, college groups and adults to serve inner-city Birmingham.
The week-long camp includes days spent out on work sites and evening programs reflecting on Christian responses to poverty. Will you join us?
Our primary mission is to rehabilitate housing for low-income elderly and disabled homeowners. You can also elect to work in our Community Gardens, Community Kitchen, and other inner-city missions projects.
Bring your group big or small (we can house up to 80!), grab a paint brush, and join us in revitalizing inner-city neighborhoods. Some groups travel 1000 or more miles each way for repeat visits each year. Don't miss out - plan your trip now!
