Dear friends,
We are grateful for your financial support, volunteerism, and prayers this month and all year long. Your gifts sustain our shared ministry of compassion and wholeness to people who are struggling because of poverty. You give us hope and strength to carry out Christ's mission to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and be present to people in their time of need.
Last year was full of blessings and full of challenges. We faced many unforeseen changes, unexpected expenses, and growing needs in the community we serve. Yet despite the economic difficulties we all face, when we asked for your help, you answered. By the end of last year, we had received almost $738,000 in gifts and grants – just $2,000 short of our ambitious goal! We ended the year strong because of your steadfast support.
So many of you went above and beyond to help us run our programs. People of all ages, places, income levels and backgrounds contributed to help sustain our ministries. Please view our Annual Report for a full account of all the work we were able to do because of you.
In the coming months, we'll have more great opportunities to give, including Alabama Gives Day (February 2) and the Feinstein Matching Funds campaign (March-April) to support our feeding ministries.
We are sustained year-round by your compassionate giving, volunteerism, donations, and prayers. Thank you for all that you do to enable us to continue helping others!
